Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri Athletics Department is seeking a dynamic and innovative Creative Director to lead a newly formed, cutting-edge multimedia content team dedicated to enhancing Mizzou Athletics' digital presence. This team will serve three primary purposes: 1. Developing high-impact digital content to promote Mizzou Athletics through storytelling, marketing, fundraising, and major department initiatives. The Creative Director will be responsible for setting the team's creative vision, managing day-to-day production, and ensuring all content aligns with Mizzou Athletics' brand identity and storytelling objectives. Key Responsibilities: Setting and executing the creative direction for Mizzou Creative, ensuring content meets the goals of the department, corporate sponsors and, if applicable, student-athletes branding opportunities. Overseeing the production of digital content for major department initiatives, fundraising efforts and marketing campaigns, ensuring a cohesive and strategic approach. Collaborating with Mizzou Sports Properties to develop and deliver digital advertising content that supports corporate sponsorships and revenue generation. Ensuring brand consistency across all visual and digital content, adhering to Mizzou Athletics' creative standards and storytelling approach. Supervising project workflows, deadlines and content distribution, ensuring efficient and effective content production. Staying ahead of digital trends in sports media, content marketing and NIL storytelling to position Mizzou as a leader in collegiate athletics content. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Experience working directly with a college or professional sports creative department is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
