Position Summary

EBI is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to maintain and improve the current systems and information technology future for the organization. The candidate will be joining the company during the final stages of the implementation of our new operating system (NetSuite, Certinia, SalesForce). The successful candidate must ensure maximum uptime and stability in the company's computer systems and networks, and manage and articulate the technology plan and path for the company, especially when new training and investment is needed for upgrades and system changes.

This position reports directly to the CEO under a hybrid model, with the expectation that a presence in our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters four days per week is required. Candidates therefore will need to be in general proximity to Burlington, MA and comfortable working in an office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Lead enterprise-wide strategic planning and execution of information technology initiatives;
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement innovative, scalable solutions that align technology with business growth, leveraging evolving tools including AI to enhance workflows and decision-making;
  • Implement industry best practice across all information technologies disciplines; prioritizing infrastructure and operations needs and implement changes to standards as necessary;
  • Provide effective leadership, direction and coaching to direct and indirect reports including, but not limited to, goals, delegating, staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations and terminations;
  • Ensure IT compliance, cybersecurity, risk management and controls by establishing and maintaining standards and policies;
  • Lead IT operations, budgeting, vendor management, and procurement strategies;
  • Oversee application and infrastructure efforts from design through implementation, ensuring that the leading practices and standards are documented, communicated and implemented;
  • Work collaboratively to ensure technology initiatives are well defined, documented, on schedule, and on budget;
  • Review designs and specifications (functional and technical) for quality and technical content;
  • Assist in the management and resolution of design and solution issues, ensuring that they are escalated to the appropriate levels in a timely manner and collaboratively resolved



Qualifications and Capabilities



  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field, Master's degree preferred;
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in information technology;
  • A minimum of 8 years of managerial experience;


  • Substantial managerial experience in formulating, planning, leading, directing and controlling complex, broad, and technical functions and projects;
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and execute deadline-driven projects and ability to prioritize multiple and competing projects;
  • No specific certification or license required
