STV currently has an opening for a New England Engineering Construction Deputy Program Manager in Hartford.

We are seeking a seasoned New England Engineering Construction Deputy Program Manager to join us in our Hartford, CT office.

Responsibilities

  • Drive growth of the business within the local Transportation CEI Market with the opportunity to propose as the Resident Engineer on strategic pursuits
  • Actively participate in business development and client management activities in close collaboration with the Regional Business Development leads, the local Business Area Manager, and the New England Engineering Construction Program Manager
  • Maintain continuous engagement with STV clients and strategically align the operations for upcoming opportunities
  • Coordinate teaming arrangements for project proposals as necessary and assist with proposal preparation and/or review
  • Collaborate with other states within the region to cross sell business opportunities and deliver high quality projects
  • Promote teaming opportunities with S/M/WBE businesses
  • Provide design services during construction (DSDC) support for STV design projects that are currently in construction
  • Provide leadership for staff within the Connecticut Transportation CEI group

  • Business development experience and successful record with business pursuit wins within the public sector
  • Strong operational management experience, with a deep understanding of all key financial and business metrics and how to excel in driving business results
  • Demonstrable leadership and communication abilities
  • Superior management and organizational skills
  • Experience working with architects, engineers, contractors and managing multi-discipline project teams
  • Ability to communicate clearly and directly at the executive and subordinate levels
  • Commitment to a culture of safety, and quality
  • Experience mentoring young professionals
  • Servant leadership attitude

Requirements

The successful candidate will have the following requirements:

  • 20 or more years of experience that includes working at Senior Leadership levels for a Transportation Program/Project/Construction Management firm or Owner's Agency
  • PE designation is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Related field degrees are considered
  • Experience managing teams
  • Business development, proposals and presentation experience required
  • High level understanding of the major engineering and construction project delivery methods (Design-build, CMAR, etc)
  • Multiple markets experience a plus

Compensation Range:

$153,483.98 - $204,645.30
