IT Business Analyst Intern

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented IT Business Analyst Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management and business analysis. The intern will work closely with our project manager and our IT and business teams to support various projects, analyze business processes, and contribute to the development of solutions that enhance our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects.

* Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives.

* Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.

* Prepare project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.

* Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions.

* Participate in meetings and contribute to discussions on project progress and challenges.

* Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for stakeholders.

* Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.

Education/Certifications:

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

* Relevant coursework in project management, business analysis, or related subjects is a plus.

Experience/Skills/Knowledge:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

* Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Physical, Mental & Travel:

* Walking is required within the facility. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to walk and sit.

* Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them in a timely manner; ability to make decisions with limited information, ability to lead, implement, and sustain change.

* Must be able to travel to the different Velosity locations when needed.

Work Environment: Velosity has non-smoking, climate controlled, professional injection molding facilities. The manufacturing environment may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in an injection molding facility.

Protective Clothing Required: When in certain locations of the facility, eye and ear protection are required. Closed-toed/ Slip resistant shoes are also required in certain locations.
