Position Summary The Admissions Counselor, reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions and the Associate Campus Director/Campus Director, will be responsible for recruiting and managing the admissions processes for all Alliant degree programs. This role involves handling inquiries and reaching out to prospective students through various communication channels, including telephone, video conference, email, text messaging, and live chat, as well as conducting student interviews. Starting Salary:Non-exempt positionat $28.20 an hour ($55,000 annualized). Minimum Qualifications: Education:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university; or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience:Experience in a college/university admissions department and/or two or more years of customer service, sales or marketing experience. Skills: * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce or similar customer relations management system, and experience with integrated business software systems in higher education, including relational databases. Duties & Responsibilities: * Relationship-building with prospective and continuing students, administration, faculty, staff, and external school districts and professional organizations. Supervisory Responsibility: Direct Reports: None. Indirect Reports: None. Contact Responsibility: Internal: Interacts with supervisor to receive directions and instruction and/or review of work results. This position will work closely with Student Finance, Financial Aid, Admissions, and Student Advising, to assist them as they matriculate to active students. The Admissions Counselor will interact with a variety of individuals at all levels of the institution. External: Interacts with prospective students & family members to provide advice and support. Primary Work Location & Travel Requirements: Office Location: 1475 66th St. Suite 104, Emeryville, CA 94608. Work Hours: Standard office hours, this is a 37.5-hour work week,with occasional evening or weekend hours required.
