THE ROLE:

Join the Radeon Technologies Group at AMD and be at the forefront of innovation in silicon design. As a key player in our front-end design and integration team, you will collaborate with top-tier professionals across architecture, IP design, physical design, and product engineering to ensure first-pass silicon success. Your contributions will directly impact the creation of cutting-edge technologies that drive the future of computing.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Design and verify Design for Test (DFT) architecture and features to ensure robust testing capabilities.

• Perform scan insertion and generate ATPG patterns to optimize test coverage.
• Validate ATPG patterns through gate-level simulations to ensure accuracy.
• Conduct thorough analysis to improve test coverage and minimize test costs.
• Provide post-silicon support to ensure successful silicon bring-up and enhance yield learning.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Understanding of Design for Test methodologies and DFT verification experience (eg. IEEE1500, JTAG 1149.x, Scan, memory BIST etc.)
• Experience with Mentor testkompress and/or Synopsys Tetramax/DFTMAX
• Experience with VCS simulation tool, Perl/Shell scripting, and Verilog RTL design

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering
