Senior Manager, Compensation

This position will be responsible for the management and administration of the enterprise compensation programs and requires a strong understanding of compensation programs and principles. This role will partner with internal departments to ensure the effective implementation of compensation policies and practices. This role will ensure adherence to established organization policies and make recommendations for process improvements as appropriate.

  • Oversee the annual salary review process, including merit increases and promotions.
  • Manage annual salary surveys and benchmark assessment and analysis.
  • Manage and implement compensation programs, policies, and procedures. Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Conduct market analysis and manage salary structures to ensure competitive and equitable pay.
  • Collaborate with HR and management on compensation-related issues and compliance.
  • Analyze compensation data, prepare reports, and create presentations for business leaders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and enhance compensation processes.
  • Support compensation planning during annual performance cycles and ad hoc analysis.

Experience Requirements

  • 5 years of compensation management experience.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CCP, SHRM-CP) preferred.
  • Proficient in compensation software and advanced Excel; strong data analysis skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities, with experience managing large-scale projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with a talent for creating and delivering effective presentations.
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations; attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Working knowledge of HRIS/PAY systems; WORKDAY preferred and 3rd party Salary Survey applications experience is highly desirable.
  • Collaborative team player with strong negotiation and planning skills.
