Position Overview

Senior AWS Cloud Engineer focused on designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-scale automation solutions for AWS organizational management and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using AWS CDK with Python
  • Develop automation frameworks for AWS Organizations, Control Tower, and Account Factory
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and management
  • Implement security controls and compliance frameworks across the AWS organization
  • Design and implement cloud governance policies and guardrails
  • Automate account provisioning, security baseline implementation, and resource deployment

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience with AWS services and architecture in an enterprise environment
  • Strong expertise in:
    • AWS Organizations
    • AWS Control Tower
    • AWS IAM
    • AWS Config
    • AWS CloudWatch
    • AWS Systems Manager
    • AWS Network concepts
    • AWS CDK with Python
    • AWS CodePipeline/CodeBuild
  • Strong experience with Python
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and tools
    • Git and version control
    • CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Professional level certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience with:
    • Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
    • Enterprise change management practices
  • Understanding of cost optimization and FinOps practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of automated solutions for AWS organizational management
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code templates
  • Create automated workflows for account provisioning and management
  • Implement and maintain security controls across the organization
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members
  • Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams
  • Document architectural decisions and maintain technical documentation
  • Support of teams operating on AWS
  • On-call support rotation

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India.
