Role Responsibilities The role is intended to support the local IT operations activities within the office on daily tasks around: * Asset management * Issues troubleshooting * Support on managing IT infrastructure * Managing the data upload processes for the engineers Qualifications
Qualifications Education: Required: BSc in IT or engineering-related fields, or respective proven experience Desired: MSc in IT or engineering-related fields, or respective proven experience General Skills * Eager to learn new technology topics * Ability to independently solve challenges * Excellent communication skills * Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools and Atlassian Confluence * Experienced in handling multiple projects, timelines, resources, and risks * Comfortable presenting technical information to technical and non-technical audiences Technical skills Required: * Technical proficiency in operating systems, networking, hardware, data management, and software * Experience in understanding issues and communicating these to the right stakeholders * Experience in following and implementing corporate IT security principles and guidelines * Familiarity with networking topics and respective hardware * Familiarity with enterprise hardware components Desired * Ability to plan data upload activities * Ability to document technical issues and solutions * Support engineers and DevOps with deploying, debugging, and maintaining container Role responsibilities **(efforts distribution is only exemplary and may change according to the workload in each area) * Troubleshooting issues and continuous improvement of processes (40%) * Lead efforts to troubleshoot issues and continuously improve processes * Support the team with daily IT challenges, acting as a liaison between the ADAS Hub and the corporate IT teams * Actively search for issues and opportunities within our processes and technical work environment * Independently find solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders IT-Asset management (30%) * Manage IT assets and related documentation, working with teams at corporate IT and developing monthly reports and forecasts * Manage the technical setup of workplaces * Present results to local management Data management (30%) * Create and maintain a data upload plan * Support engineers with data uploads, also monitoring the success of the uploads to the cloud The person selected for this role will need to be onsite 4 days/week at our office in San Jose, CA. This is a multi-year contract opportunity with potential to convert to full-time in the future. In San Jose, California, the salary range for this role is $120,000 -$150000, depending on education and experience.
