Outbound Manager

The Outbound Manager oversees all outbound operations, including shipping, distribution, and customer service. This position involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and meeting operational goals in a warehouse or distribution center.

What You'll Do:



  • Oversee picking, packing, shipping, and delivery processes.
  • Manage and develop a motivated outbound staff team.
  • Implement improvements in outbound processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Ensure quality standards for order fulfillment, timely shipping, and proper handling of goods.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Track KPIs related to outbound operations, such as fulfillment rates and shipping times.
  • Collaborate with other departments for efficient operations.
  • Manage the outbound budget effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
  • Initiate continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs and enhance operations.


What You'll Bring:



  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in warehouse or distribution operations, focusing on outbound processes.
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS).


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift and pull heavy objects (50+ lbs).
  • Capability to operate a forklift.
  • Warehouse environment with a standard 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday; occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
  • Punctual, regular, and reliable on-site attendance is essential.
