GENERAL SUMMARY: This position assists all plant operations in controlling processes to levels that meet expectations related to quality, cost, control and consistency. Creates and maintains databases and performance reporting. Troubleshoots variability for reduction or elimination. Incumbent will perform projects with the goal of achieving cost reductions and process and part improvements. Leads Wax Process Control team and works closely with Operations Leadership to improve and maintain processes that support quality initiatives. GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: BS in an engineering/science related field, preferably Metallurgy, Mechanical, Material Science, or Ceramics. Six Sigma Black Belt certified or ability to become certified. Three to five years experience in manufacturing or process control related environments preferred. Leadership experience and experience in the Titanium Casting industry preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to exert up to 35 pounds of force to move an object. Ability to work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, smoke and varying temperatures. Ability to travel to different departments and stand for long periods on concrete.
