Reporting to the Director of Client Value, Pricing and Revenue Management, the Senior Analyst plays a key role in supporting strategic, operational, and financial initiatives that drive client value and firm profitability. This role blends advanced analytics, hands-on execution, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. The Senior Analyst will execute and enhance the Firm's rate administration, new business intake, and matter management processes, while also supporting pricing strategy, budgeting, and client-facing initiatives tied to revenue and profitability goals.

This position will reside in our Philadelphia office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and optimize the NBI process, including accurate client/matter setup in Elite 3E, ensuring fee arrangements, billing instructions, and pricing nomenclature are correctly applied

  • Evaluate and implement timekeeper billing rate structures

  • Oversee data governance and operational accuracy across NBI and Matter Management processes, ensuring alignment with firm policies and pricing structures

  • Develop and execute financial, operational, and pricing analyses to support strategic decision-making

  • Build and maintain models, dashboards, and reporting tools to streamline internal workflows and enhance visibility into performance, matter budgets, and rate structures

  • Collaborate across Finance, Business Development, and Legal teams to support RFP responses, pricing proposals, and client inquiries

  • Provide strategic support to Practice Leadership and Firm Management by communicating performance insights, identifying key drivers, and aligning pricing strategies with client service goals

  • Assist with testing and implementation of software enhancements (e.g., Elegrity, Cosine, Elite 3E), supporting data accuracy and process improvements

  • Support departmental projects and tasks related to process redesign, improvements in intake and pricing/fee accuracy, cross-functional alignment, and scalability initiatives during periods of high volume or operational change

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, legal operations, or business services-ideally in a law firm or professional services environment

  • Strong command of financial systems and software: Elite 3E, Elegrity, Qlik, Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Demonstrated ability to build advanced models, reports, and data visualizations to drive decision-making

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights for attorneys and leadership

  • Client service orientation and professional demeanor, with the ability to interface confidently with attorneys, clients, and business stakeholders

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlines

  • Problem-solving mindset with a continuous improvement focus

  • Understanding of legal industry billing practices, pricing concepts, and market benchmarks (e.g., AFAs, procurement, rate benchmarking)

  • Experience with financial and matter management systems such as Elite, Workday, Elegrity, and business intelligence tools like Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau
