Job Title: ILS Training & Development Manager

Location: Moss Point, MS

Position Overview:The ILS Training & Development Manager (ILS TDM) is responsible for creating, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs related to Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Supply Support. This position ensures that all personnel receive thorough training in systems, procedures, and equipment as defined by company processes. The role involves collaborating and/or managing a team of trainers, technical writers, and logistics specialists, as well as collaborating with program managers and other ILS staff.

Key Responsibilities:

* Training Program Development: Plan, design, and execute effective training programs aligned with ILS and project requirements.

* Curriculum Development: Create, revise, and maintain training materials such as manuals, presentations, and simulation activities.

* Training Delivery: Conduct training sessions for various personnel, including operators, maintenance, and support staff.

* Performance Measurement: Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback; modify programs as necessary to address evolving training requirements.

* Team Management: Lead and manage a team of trainers, technical writers, and support personnel; provide technical guidance, resolve issues, and promote a positive workplace consistent with Bollinger's values.

* Budget Management: Manage training budgets effectively, including developing accurate cost projections and "Estimates at Completion."

* Collaboration: Coordinate closely with program managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive training solutions.

* Analyzing Training Needs: Identify training gaps using project requirements and performance data to inform program development.

* Maintaining Training Records: Maintain accurate documentation of training sessions, completion status, and participant performance.

* Project Management: Prepare and review regular status reports on training progress, adjusting schedules and strategies as needed.

Experience:

* Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of Integrated logistics experience in a shipbuilding or related field setting.

* Bachelor of Science in Business, Accounting, or Engineering; or ten (10) years of applicable Program Management/Integrated Logistics experience may be substituted.

* Previous military experience is a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

* Exceptional leadership, motivation, and communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal and management capabilities.

* Proficiency in basic computer software, including Microsoft Office.

* Comprehensive understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and project management methodologies.
