Job Summary

Uses professional concepts to apply organization policies and procedures to oversee a variety of ongoing administrative operational issues. Administers defined operational program. Analyzes and resolves operational problems of moderate scope. Leads and facilitates projects for the overall function of the unit and staff. Implements solutions and improvement ideas for specific quality initiatives.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $29.05 - $53.50 (Hourly Rate).

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
• 2 - 3 years of related administrative or operational support or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Ability to use sound judgment in responding to issues and concerns.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of staff verbally and in writing.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
• Working knowledge of common organization-specific and other computer application programs.
• Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
• APEX knowledge
• The ability to professionally interact with families and patients
• Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and standard UC business systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Academic medical center experience
• Minimum 1 year of experience analyzing and translating data to metrics, dashboards and presentations
• Minimum 1 year project coordination and administration experience in a clinical setting
