Department:

The Application Support Analyst II is responsible for providing second-level support for Brightree applications and services, ensuring optimal system performance, accuracy, and functionality. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with system maintenance, managing application testing, coordinating system upgrades, and contributing to project initiatives. The analyst collaborates closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance system efficiency and user experience.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include the following as well as other duties and responsibilities, which may be assigned:

System Support & Maintenance:



  • Provide second-level support for Brightree applications, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage system updates, patches, and configuration changes to maintain accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure system performance and functionality align with business needs and industry standards.
  • Meet established SLAs and performance metrics to support business expectations.


Application Testing & System Upgrades:



  • Conduct application testing for new system features, updates, and patches to validate performance and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to test and implement system enhancements.
  • Assist in system upgrades and deployments, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.


Payer & Pricing Management:



  • Process and maintain payer updates, including new payer additions, edits, and EDI/ERA/ERN/EFT enrollments.
  • Manage user setup, access, and maintenance for payer portals.
  • Ensure pricing and conditional updates are accurate and up to date.
  • Support and maintain price table accuracy, working with finance and compliance teams as needed.


Project Support & Implementation:



  • Assist in system-related projects, including enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives.
  • Participate in cross-functional project teams to support business process improvements.
  • Provide documentation and training on system changes and new functionality to end users.


User Training & Documentation:



  • Create and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Train end users on system functionality, updates, and best practices.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource for application functionality and issue resolution.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application issues efficiently.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:



  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in application support, software testing, or IT systems management.
  • Experience with payer systems, EDI transactions, or healthcare software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.

  • The anticipated base compensationrange for this position is $20.08- $31.56 per hour. The actual amountvaries based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.





  • This position is also eligible to participate in the ABC Medical Sales Bonus Plan. The Company also provides a unique Benefit of Employee Share Ownership Program (BESOP) program based on earnings and length of service.
