Role

PDW seeks a Junior Developer, Manufacturing Systems to join our team and contribute to the growth of the next wave of PDW manufacturing. This person will support the PDW Production Operations department while also supporting other departments such as Finance and Quality Assurance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting PDW develop, implement, and execute NetSuite and other business system software, processes, and custom solutions.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will thrive in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, have strong critical thinking abilities to deliver timely solutions, processes, and direction to PDW manufacturing software users across multiple departments

• Support ERP Administrator in implementation and sustainment of holistic ERP system including Warehouse Management System, Manufacturing Execution System, and Mobile Manufacturing within organizations ERP system, NetSuite
• Support ERP implementation from new initiatives start to finish including writing scripts, generating custom reports, manage customer ticket requests, and providing customer support
• Support delivery of manufacturing system new implementations, data management and manipulation, and program development in adjacent business systems such as Power BI
• Support integration between other software tools such as PLM (production lifecycle management), CRM (customer relationship management) and BOM management tools such as Salesforce, Duro and others.
• Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for NetSuite users, particularly in manufacturing, inventory management, supply chain, finance and other Operations areas.
• Develop and maintain scripts, workflows, and customizations within NetSuite and other business intelligence software to meet business needs.
• Ensure that NetSuite is configured to align with specific manufacturing processes such as work orders, BOM (Bill of Materials), production scheduling, and inventory planning.
• Perform data analytics on business software systems to identify data discrepancies, generate operational reports, assist business leaders in data manipulation and visualization.
• Provide exceptional customer service by being on call during business hours to answer all levels of questions from ERP users.

Requirements

• 1 - 3 years of systems developer experience within a manufacturing environment
• Functional knowledge of ERP systems implementation and sustainment with NetSuite ERP knowledge preferred
• Foundational proficiency in at least one programming language such as SQL, Python, DAX, Microsoft SQL Database Management, Oracle Database Management, and common manufacturing systems including understanding of data structures, algorithms, and version control systems
• Business Intelligence experience such as PowerBI, Tableau, and Microsoft Power Platform
• Basic understanding of MRP (Materials Resource Planning) with an emphasis on material movement, demand management, bill of materials, and consumption in a complex production environment
• Proficiency in configuring workflows, custom records, fields, and scripts within an ERP system
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Act quickly with changes in priorities and provide quick TAT (Turn-Around-Time) for requests
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience and willingness to work under varying amounts of stress in a fast-paced and changing operation
• JavaScript knowledge is a plus

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, climb, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift / carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.

Work Environment

This position may have exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-climate-controlled environments. May require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) depending on the environment. This is a fast-paced work environment and requires cross departmental collaboration with independent and team-based responsibilities.
