Overview
Executes the program governance and project management components of the organization's portfolio of strategic roadmap initiatives. Maintains a broad understanding of multiple BU's, with a focus on strategic program management to help ensure that projects align to the organization's long-term strategy, are appropriately prioritized, completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the customer or stakeholder. The Enterprise Portfolio Management Senior Manager must have a blend of strategic foresight, analytical depth, leadership & Business acumen, and adaptability to succeed in their role.
Responsibilities
Portfolio Management & Governance
- Supports the full lifecycle of strategic initiatives critical to achieving growth targets-identification, prioritization, funding, execution and value realization.
- Assists in the investment governance processes, including business case validation, resource allocation, and benefit tracking.
- Partners with initiative owners and functional leaders from Finance, Strategy, GTM and Operations to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives and execution timelines.
- Assists in establishing project teams and distributing project workload.
- Acts as a liaison between project teams and other functional areas of the organization.
- Establishes governance processes for tracking and reporting on initiatives, including developing KPIs and other metrics to measure performance and drive accountability.
- Monitors progress of strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with overall goals.
- Assists in setting and managing project expectations.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within established quality standards.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Supports strategic planning cycles by sequencing initiatives, surfacing trade-offs, and aligning timing with organizational capacity.
- Assist in the prioritization and tracking of investment projects.
- Partners with Strategy, Operations, and Product Development teams to help translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmaps with defined milestones, ownership, and success metrics.
- Proactively identify risks, address execution gaps, and adjust the portfolio in response to evolving business needs.
- Communication & Collaboration
- Partners with BU initiative leaders to provide regular reporting on project status, condition, KPIs,
RAID logs, risk mitigation, etc. - Collaborates with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
- BS/BA degree required, MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of professional experience (prior management experience 3+ years of leading teams a plus)
- Experience in healthcare services or similarly regulated industries preferred.
- PMP preferred.
- Proven ability to partner with senior leadership and align stakeholders around strategic priorities.
- Deep analytical and executive-level communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies to oversee the execution of complex projects.
- Strong strategic thinking skills and the ability to develop, communicate and execute plans for the organization.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to identify challenges and develop solutions through analyzing, summarizing, and reporting against data sets.
- Ability to adapt to changing business environments, pivot strategies and tactics as needed, and influence without authority.

- Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial for conveying complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and understandably through written reports, presentations, and verbal discussions.
- Curiosity and Learning Agility: A strong desire to learn and explore new methodologies, techniques, and tools in the field of data analysis and insights generation is essential for staying current with industry trends and best practices.
- Resilience: The ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and overcome setbacks is important in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous analytical environment.
- Ethical and Integrity: Upholding ethical standards and maintaining integrity in handling sensitive data and information is paramount for building trust and credibility in the insights provided.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.

Base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $150,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs. This role is eligible for discretionary bonus consideration.
