CLA is growing and seeking to hire an experienced Lead Cloud Systems Analyst to join our talented Information Technology team. The position offers growth, flexibility and a collaborative work environment.

Most important, demonstrate a high level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Cloud Operations Analyst to join our team. This role involves overseeing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, primarily using Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and Kubernetes, as well as managing on-prem data center operations. The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in cloud security, Linux, scripting (Python or Bash), and PowerShell. Additional expertise in Docker, Git, DevOps, and Spacelift is highly desirable. The position requires exceptional problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor and lead development and operations teams.

How you'll create opportunities in this Lead Cloud Systems Analyst role:

  • Oversee Cloud Infrastructure:Design, implement, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):Lead the automation of operational tasks and processes using IaC principles, primarily with Terraform.

  • Cloud Security and Compliance:Ensure cloud environments are secure, scalable, and compliant with industry standards and best practices.

  • Collaboration and Support:Work closely with development and operations teams to support and drive cloud initiatives.

  • System Audits and Reporting:Perform regular system audits and generate comprehensive reports on cloud infrastructure health.

  • Troubleshooting and Resolution:Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex cloud infrastructure issues.

  • Documentation and Best Practices:Develop and document operational procedures and best practices for cloud operations.

  • On-Prem Data Center Management:Oversee and monitor on-prem data center operations to ensure seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.

  • Maintenance and Upgrades:Perform maintenance and upgrades on on-prem data center hardware and software.

  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship:Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

  • Project Management:Lead and manage cloud-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

What you will need:

  • Extensive Experience:7+ years of experience in cloud operations or a similar role, with a proven track record of leading and managing cloud infrastructure.

  • Terraform and IaC:Proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

  • Kubernetes Expertise:Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.

  • Cloud Platforms:Expert knowledge within Azure

  • Cloud Security:Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.

  • Problem-Solving Skills:Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Communication and Teamwork:Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Spacelift Knowledge:Knowledge of Spacelift is a plus.

  • On-Prem Data Center Operations:Experience with on-prem data center operations.

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Certifications / Licenses

*AZ-900/AZ-400 certifications preferred
