Introduction:

We are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the DevOps Cloud Lead to provide Infrastructure As Code (IaC) and CI/CD engineering for scrum teams. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure that supports various applications and workloads.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Design and Deployment: Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in Azure.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Utilize IaC principles to automate the provisioning of Azure resources using Terraform.
  • Cloud Network Solutions: Design and implement enterprise-scale cloud network solutions including virtual networks, subnets, security groups, VPNs, VNet peering, and ExpressRoute.
  • Identity and Access Management: Implement secure identity and access management solutions using Azure AD, Role-based access control, and multi-factor authentication to ensure a Zero-Trust architecture.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Design and implement solutions for high availability and disaster recovery utilizing Azure Availability sets, Availability Zones, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Implement proactive measures to monitor, analyze, and optimize the cloud environment ensuring high availability and optimal resource utilization.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of applications and services across the organization.
  • CI/CD Solutions: Responsible for management and development of continuous integration and deployment solutions for production applications.
  • Technology Infrastructure: Spearhead the creation of new technology infrastructures and lead the team to survey existing, non-cloud workloads and develop cloud-native solutions.
  • Software Deployment Strategies: Responsible for creating software deployment strategies that allow DevOps engineers to successfully deploy sites/software in any environment.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure security and compliance of Azure resources including access controls, encryption, and identity management.
Location and Clearance Requirements:
This is a remote opportunity. Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance is required.
Required For This Opportunity:
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience designing and implementing highly available architecture, Azure Identities and Governance, Storage and Compute resources, Virtual Network configuration, and hybrid connectivity solutions.
  • IaC Development: Minimum of 6 years of experience developing and deploying Infrastructure as Code (IaC) leveraging Terraform.
  • DevOps Engineering: Minimum of 6 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
  • Azure Certification: Azure Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
  • Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of Azure user service offerings including Autopilot/Intune, SharePoint, Exchange, O365/M365, OneDrive, and Azure Active Directory (AD).
  • Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, and Python.
  • CI/CD Tools: Hands-on experience developing and refining CI/CD approaches through Azure DevOps or combining cloud-agnostic equivalents like Gitlab, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
  • Containerization: Deep knowledge of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Azure Managed Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Migration: Experience evaluating and migrating on-prem workloads and translating to cloud-native solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively present strategies and solutions and facilitate communication and collaboration with business stakeholders.

Nice To Have Skills

  • Previous Treasury experience is a plus.
