FOCUS FACTORY MANAGER:

The Focus Factory Manager leads a large cross-functional team that includes all team members, team leaders, group leaders, quality, engineering, production planning and continuous improvement. The FFM guides Focus Factory in its support of internal and external customer requirements and is responsible for meeting or exceeding all Focus Factory KPI's including safety, quality, delivery and cost. The Focus Factory Manager coordinates the development of the people, processes and capabilities within the Focus Factory. She reports to the Plant Manager and is a valued member of our manufacturing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Manage all daily activities within the focus factory
  • Plan and manage all financial aspects of the focus factory (AOP, MRO, capital, etc)
  • Plan and manage all quality, environmental health and safety compliance and regulatory aspects
  • Champion of continuous improvement activities (BOS, Lean, TVM, Six Sigma)
  • Drive development of facilities processes and future capabilities
  • Directs compliance with ISO-14001 and federal, state and local regulatory standards
  • Utilize BOS to develop and execute systems and processes that meet or exceed the focus factory and plant goals for safety, quality, delivery, cost, production and material control
  • Work with the staff to set focus factory and personal goals and monitor the performance to the AOP. Champion the development of all team members, mentor employee performance and establish development and improvement plans
  • Support efforts to implement succession planning for targeted key functional positions
  • Provide resources to support facility and customer needs
  • Prepare and report out regularly in focus factory and plant wide communication meetings
