Overview
The Web Design & Content Manager will lead all updates, enhancements, and ongoing management of kvh.com and the KVH partner portal, including search engine optimization and analytics. In addition, this individual will work closely with Digital Marketing to integrate web and content across digital marketing and lead generation efforts, including HubSpot Marketing Hub, email campaigns, and social media. The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively driven-able to take ownership of web performance, analytics, and content updates; manage outside web development resources, and conceptualize and implement engaging web elements that meet KVH brand standard. This role is central to ensuring our digital presence is not only maintained but continuously improved to support evolving business goals in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. It is a hands-on role that blends strategic planning with day-to-day execution, ideal for someone who enjoys both big-picture thinking and rolling up their sleeves to get things done.
Responsibilities
Web Design and Management
Serve as the principal owner of all company web properties (including kvh.com based on WordPress and our partner portal, landing pages for campaign support), managing updates, performance, content, and compliance
- Liaise with Salesforce team, Sales Operations, Airtime, IT, etc., on digital platform content and management
- Execute day-to-day web operations including content creation, page building in Elementor, image optimization (WebP, SVG, compression), performance tuning, and uptime monitoring
- Drive website strategy to improve UX, SEO, and lead generation; proactively identify issues and opportunities to enhance user experience and site performance
- Ensure all web content follows SEO best practices and collaborate with stakeholders to implement on-page SEO strategies that support visibility and ranking
- Implement and maintain website analytics using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Looker Studio dashboards, with a focus on conversion tracking, web performance, and lead attribution
- Manage external web vendor strategically through writing briefs, QA'ing deliverables, coordinating required technical support and troubleshooting, and outsourcing development work only when necessary
- Oversee cookie compliance and accessibility standards (including PDF remediation), and manage monthly OneTrust scans and categorization
- Maintain and update the Salesforce-powered document library feeding the resource sections of the website and partner portal
- Translate requirements into mockups for discussion, review, and final creation of wireframes
- Liaise with outside investor relations site provider for update coordination and QA
- Supporting coverage map creation and updates via Datawrapper
- Provide user-centric thoughtful design from concept to delivery
- QA web pages prior to launch against range of browser and screen sizes
- Support the Customer Applications team with UI design input/guidance
Digital Marketing Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with KVH's Digital Marketing Manager, including providing backup lead management and routing along with Hubspot email marketing coverage during peak periods or PTO
- Conceptualize and develop high-converting Wordpress-based landing pages to support digital marketing and lead generation campaigns
- Contribute to lead generation strategy and execution across email, social, and digital campaigns-ensuring alignment with sales goals and optimizing for conversion
- Collaborate on the development and execution of marketing campaigns in HubSpot Marketing Hub, including nurture and onboarding, list segmentation, automated workflows, and creation of supporting web content and landing pages
- Support organic social media content creation and scheduling
- Assist with CRM database management, including lead segmentation, list hygiene, and data integrity
- Support Creative Director during high-traffic collateral design periods as appropriate
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of experience in web and digital marketing roles, with hands-on ownership of WordPress/Elementor websites
- Familiarity with HubSpot Marketing Hub, including workflow automation and CRM integration
- Experience with Salesforce, including syncing and lead management
- Proficiency in GA4, attribution reporting, and conversion optimization
- Solid understanding of SEO, image optimization, and accessibility standards
- Demonstrated ability to plan and design high-impact web content and properties
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects and vendor relationships
- Resourcefulness and a self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
Preferred
- Familiarity with OneTrust or similar cookie consent tools
- Experience with multi-touch attribution modeling and marketing ROI analysis
- Background in B2B marketing, preferably in tech or maritime-related industries
- Experience with Abode Creative Suite design applications
- Comfort supporting teams across global time zones (especially UK-based)
- Awareness of UX best practices and principles of conversion rate optimization
