The Wake Forest University School of Business is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Administrative Coordinator, Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character. This part-time role plans, organizes, and executes administrative functions that support the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character.

About the Role

Essential Functions:

  • Servesasaprimarycontactpersonforadministration in the Allegacy Center for Leadership and Character within the School of Business.
  • Assists in planning and execution of Center-sponsored extracurricular initiatives supporting Business School students, including managing the ACLC Service Academies Leadership Conference Program and ACLC Scholars program logistics
  • Manages the Center's website, including regular site updates and postings, as well as capturing and analyzing metrics.
  • Supports and assists in the execution and maintenance of the Center's Leadership & Character Assessment program via online platform.
  • Manages Assurance of Learning program for Honorable Concept, including data analysis of assessments across all academic programs.
  • Maintains Community Business Leader Coaching program engagement and support
  • Collects, analyzes and prepares monthly reporting of ACLC activities and events, engaging with ACLC staff, faculty partners, affiliates, and constituents
  • Manages, analyzes data and prepares reporting of all undergraduate admissions ethical dilemma essays.
  • Providesadministrativeandother supportto Directoror other Centerfacultyandstaffasneeded.
  • Plans and coordinates semi-annual servant leadership events for School
  • Maintainscalendars,files,records and prepares reportsforthe Center.
  • Respondspromptlytoinquiries and effectively managescorrespondence.
  • Coordinates and executes events for the Center to include arrangement of meeting/conference location and hotel, travel, and meal accommodations.
  • SupportsadvertisingandrecruitmentfortheCenter and serves as a liaison to other WFU offices to coordinate support for marketing efforts.
  • Monitorsandordersoffice supplies.

Other Functions:

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • High school diploma plus specialized training, with a minimum of five years of administrative support experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated integrity, courage, and resilience.
  • Self-starter who works under minimal supervision.
  • Possess superb interpersonal skills to effectively interact with faculty, staff, students, and the public.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Possess exceptional self-management, organizational and time management skills, with the ability to efficiently organize workflow and adapt to changing demands.
  • Comfortable in a highly automated environment and working out of multiple databases; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Abilitytoassist in planning and execution of events and activities.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to update skills set on a continual basis.
  • Ability to take direction, work independently, and work with others as part of a team.
  • Maintains a professional presence.
  • Promotes the School of Business' mission and supports the holistic development of students and serving the greater good.
  • Good organizational citizen who places the Center's mission and people before own self-interests.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules as program requirements demand.

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Work primarily involving sitting/standing; communicating with others to exchange information; repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; and assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
