About the Role

Watlow is seeking a technically strong Product Manager to lead innovation and growth in our Medium and Low Voltage Control Panel product lines. This role will be pivotal in bridging customer needs with technical solutions, working cross-functionally with OEMs, end users, and internal teams to drive product development, commercialization, and market success.

The Product Manager will become the face of Watlow's medium voltage panel solutions-driving technology leadership, building customer trust, and ensuring commercial success. They will help shape the next generation of intelligent, scalable control panel systems that enable industrial electrification and energy efficiency.

This leader will also play a key role in accelerating the global adoption of medium voltage technology, positioning Watlow as the preferred partner for high-power thermal system integration.

Your Key Responsibilities



  • Customer Engagement: Build strong relationships with OEMs, EPCs, and industrial end users to understand application needs and drive adoption.
  • Problem Identification: Discover and validate customer pain points, especially where medium voltage control systems are critical.
  • Product Development Leadership: Lead the development and support of MV and LV panel solutions across global markets.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as Watlow's go-to expert on medium voltage panel technologies for internal teams and external partners.
  • Solution Integration: Identify opportunities to pair control panels with Watlow's complementary technologies like heaters, sensors, and controls.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with engineering, sales, and support teams to resolve technical issues and ensure program alignment.
  • Technical Enablement: Develop and deliver technical content, training, and demos for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Market Strategy & IP Protection: Lead product marketing for MV panels in key verticals and coordinate with IP teams to protect innovations.



Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
  • 10+ years of proven expertise in medium and low voltage control panel design, integration, and deployment-particularly in industrial applications
  • Deep knowledge of electrical control systems, power distribution, thermal management, and industrial automation
  • Familiarity with industry standards related to MV equipment (e.g., IEC 62271, IEEE, UL 347, UL 508A, ANSI)



Desired Qualifications



  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, technical programs from concept to commercialization
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively at both technical and executive levels
  • Proven success working with customers in complex sectors like energy, oil & gas, power generation, or chemical processing
  • Background in global program or product management, with the ability to navigate diverse customer timelines, expectations, and cultural nuances
  • Prior experience in developing and scaling control panel solutions that integrate with broader system technologies (e.g., sensors, heaters, automation platforms)
