The Opportunity

Join TC Energy's Dynamic Damage Prevention Team

We're seeking a passionate #EnergyProblemSolver to join our Damage Prevention team - the group responsible for safeguarding TC Energy's extensive natural gas infrastructure across the United States and Canada.

In this impactful role, you'll help drive our proactive outreach initiatives that protect critical energy assets, ensure public safety, and maintain operational excellence across our network. Your contributions will directly support our commitment to operating with industry-leading reliability and environmental responsibility.

Based in one of our strategic office locations, you'll collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to develop and implement innovative damage prevention strategies that make a real difference in the communities we serve.

What you'll do

We are seeking a Damage Prevention Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, responsibilities include:

* Monitor third-party risks, damages and unauthorized activities.
* Support operations teams to identify threat areas and implementation of mitigation efforts.
* Analyze and track metrics related to pipeline safety to identify trends and develop action plans.
* Analyze and track metrics on all digital outreach and education platforms.
* Assist in creating and implementing a communications plan for field operations.
* Work collaboratively to support all damage prevention activities, interfacing with internal departments, vendors, stakeholders and industry organizations.
* Create content for newsletters, reports and digital ads.
* Manage records and prepare documentation for regulatory inspections, as required
* Customize multiple datasets for different visual outputs for an internal audience.

Minimum Qualifications

* 3 or more years of relevant experience
* A post-secondary degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations or related field
* Proficient written communicator and strong editing skills
* Excellent communications and presentations skills, to enable effective interaction with operation teams, leadership and external stakeholders
* Experience in Community Engagement, Project Communications, Campaign Management, Digital Campaign development or Internal Communications
* Proactive, results-driven team-player who can support team members, operations and collaborative partners to drive success

Preferred Qualifications

* Highly organized, able to effectively manage multiple priorities at one time
* Strategic thinker, ability to analyze facts and data to determine effective solutions
* Have and maintain a valid driver's license and provide a driver's abstract (record) for review
* Travel to other company locations for temporary assignments, meetings or public engagements will be required (estimated up 25% of work schedule)
