Loan Closing Manager, Vice President
The Loan Closing Manager role will be responsible for management and oversight of a team consisting of Loan Closing Officers. The team is responsible for handling pre-closing and post-closing activities related to closing commercial loans for lending groups located across multiple locations including Texas, California and Michigan.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Monitor team to ensure all required pre-closing and post-closing activities are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Partner and effectively communicate with peers, lending groups, bank counsel and third parties to develop strong relationships and maintain collaboration.
  • Identify risks and implement controls for departmental responsibilities; manage the team through regulatory, legal, credit and documentation requirements.
  • Act as liaison to downstream LTS teams to partner in resolving deficiencies and streamlining processes.
  • Assist team in resolving process or business-related obstacles to closing loans.
  • Establish training and education to enhance team skills and limit key-person dependencies.
  • Participate in projects and service enhancements.
  • Coordinate change management activities; Effectively manage team through change.
  • Create and administer effective goals and development plans.

Position Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance or 8 years of related experience
  • 6 years of banking or financial service environment experience
  • 5 years commercial loan experience
  • 5 years analysis experience
  • 5 years customer service experience in a telephone and face-to-face environment
  • 2 years of leadership/managing teams in a financial, legal, or banking environment
