Commercial Loan Processor Senior
Commercial Loan Processer Senior independently analyzes complex loan documentation in order to set up, fund advances, and maintain commercial loan accounts using the AFS and/or DEALS systems, while adhering to rigorous production standards with a high degree of accuracy.
Position Responsibilities:


  • Act as a liaison between group managers, relationship managers, loans closing officers, loan boarding representatives, lenders, department managers, lending assistants, administrative staff, and other various colleagues.
  • Provide support to Participation Bought Loan Analysts and Specialized Loan Analysts.
  • Train New Hire Processors and collaborate to resolve discrepancies.
  • Independently analyze Immediate Handlings, funding and advance request for the proper format and completeness of information, to identify and determine the required documentation needed to complete the requested tasks.
  • Process and review requests submitted via DEALS.
  • Verify supporting documentation received meets Comerica's credit policy, GFT wire Policy and LTS processing standards.
  • Review loan activity to determine root cause of discrepancies.
  • Apply proper transactional corrections, if needed to ensure accuracy of regulatory compliance.
  • Respond to audit requests.
  • Responsible for balancing all financial transactions processed and reporting to Funds Control.
  • Directs workflow and completes training when requested. Acts as a role model and provide leadership for other processors.


Position Qualifications:


  • 4 years of experience in banking, financial services, or office environment
  • 3 years of Commercial Loan processing experience
  • 3 years of Customer Services/liaison experience
  • 2 Yr/Associate Degree or 2 years of relevant experience
  • 2 years of Microsoft Word and Excel experience

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
