The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking an Assistant Director of Academic and Global Programs. The Assistant Director will be tasked with a broad range of academic and global program management responsibilities, such as onboarding and student orientation coordination, curricular and co-curricular programming, on-site support, and engaging students and program community members from matriculation through graduation. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of program constituents. They will be professionally adaptable, highly organized, and exhibit a strong, positive service orientation. The candidate will thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented, and entrepreneurial environments. They will bring creativity, excellent written and oral communication skills, and technological proficiency. Anticipated Hiring Range: $55,000 - 62,000, commensurate with education and experience. Anticipated Start Date: July 28, 2025 This is an Exempt level, benefited position. This position is based in Charlottesville, VA, and may include periodic travel to Northern Virginia and international locations to support students and engage with UVA colleagues and global partners. The position may require weekend and evening work, and opportunities to travel internationally may periodically be available (but are not required). This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, after required training and with the approval of supervisor.
