Our client is looking for a designer that specialized in keynote presentations to support their upcoming tech event in September. Candidate must be based in the bay area and go be able to go to Menlo Park the 2 weeks leading up to event in September.

Experience with system design and the ability to create consistencies. 4.) Online portfolio/relevant samples required *Description* Our client hosts some of the industry's most talked-about events. The Studio is a team of designers, photographers, film producers and editors that creates content you see on and off the stage. Sr. Communication Designers will work with speech writers, executive speakers, and other designers to create compelling and visually stimulating presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas. Communication designers will work design leads and XFN partners to create compelling and visually stimulating graphics that effectively communicate complex ideas. *In your role, you will:* * Create compelling and visually stimulating presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas. * Work in a team environment with other designers and motion graphic designers. * Understand presentation design nuances and principles, specifically, how to tell a story. * Create consistent layouts with strong attention to detail. * Strong illustration and art direction background. * Manage project communications and workflow. * Ability to effectively communicate with various personality types and work with non-design partners. * Ability to provide solutions and collaborate with partners in a positive manner. * Strong organizational skills and self-starter personality. * Create compelling and visually stimulating presentations that effectively communicate complex ideas. * Work with other designers, motion graphic designers, communication and legal leads, and industry thought leaders who will rely on the designer to craft keynote presentations. * Understand presentation design nuances and principles, specifically, how to tell a story. * Create consistent layouts with strong attention to detail. * Provide creative, thoughtful, and informed solutions to overall storytelling hurdles. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* * Undergraduate or MFA degree in design or a related field. * Minimum 5+ years' agency or in-house (or similar) experience in a comparable role. Experience creating presentations. * Proficient in Keynote and Mac OS; familiarity with Keynote and PowerPoint. * Ability to align closely with non-design partners and work directly with presentation speakers. * A portfolio demonstrating strong design skills and a personal aesthetic. * Possess an appreciation for clean and impactful aesthetic. Specifically, hierarchy, typography, color pairing, and layout. * Extremely strong illustration and art direction. * Experience with motion-based storytelling preferred. * Advanced proficiency in Adobe CC, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator. * Intermediate proficiency with Keynote (or equivalent presentation design experience). * Strong communication skills. * Strong work ethic and organizational skills with a self-starter personality. * Ability to effectively communicate with various personality types and work with non-design partners. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
