The Reston Community Center seeks a motivated individual who will be responsible for the daily operations of the Hunters Woods and Lake Anne locations as well as the oversight and management of the facility services team. They will manage the rentals and enforce RCC and county policies. This individual will perform the administrative functions for RCC's rentals, refunds/cancellations, records management, facility services team scheduling and Focus input, and RecTrac database management.
This position provides general administrative support in the assigned functional areas of office administration, facility management and recreational or community services.
Salary: The starting salary for this position will not exceed the midpoint rate ($64,823.20) of the advertised pay grade. Promotional rules apply for current Fairfax County Government Fairfax County Public Schools employees.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of education, experience and training equivalent to high school graduation and three years of experience providing administrative support in the assigned functional area(s).
CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED: Valid Driver's License (Required at the time of application) CPR/First Aid (Required) AED (Required within 12 months and recertify every 24 months)
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is considered Emergency Service Personnel to ensure the continuity of essential operations and will be required to report to work during times designated countywide as approved for unscheduled leave regardless of the emergency situation (i.e., weather, transportation, other disaster).
- The appointee to the position will be required to complete the following to the satisfaction of the employer:
- Criminal Background Investigation
- Child Protective Services Registry Check
- Driving Record Check
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- CPR/AED certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of RecTrac or comparable recreation software.
- At least three years of experience in facility operations, with some supervisory experience, is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Employee will be required to do some walking, standing, bending and carrying of items up to 50 pounds in weight.
- Visual acuity is required to read data on computer monitor
