EBIT Infrastructure Vulnerability and Monitoring Supervisor

The Opportunity:

General Dynamics Electric Boat, the world's foremost designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Supervisor to join the organization within the Information Technology (EBIT) Department. Electric Boat Information Technology is responsible for ensuring technical solutions deliver the appropriate cybersecurity, contractual, and legal controls. This role is to lead a team of engineers developing enterprise monitoring and scanning solutions that meet external and internal needs.

Position Summary:

The Information Technology Infrastructure Vulnerability and Monitoring Supervisor will lead a group of IT Engineers for the creation, documentation, and management of Electric Boat's enterprise infrastructure. The EBIT Infrastructure Vulnerability and Monitoring Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the successful operation of EB's enterprise infrastructure monitoring systems to maintain 100% operational visibility to critical EBIT systems.

A successful candidate will be able to balance IT requirements, cybersecurity requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve those requirements.

Required:

Bachelors degree of Science or higher in computer science, cybersecurity, IT, or computer information systems
• 5+ years of experience working within large enterprise IT environments

Preferred:

• 2+ years experience Tenable Security Center or Qualys
• Experience with CIS or STIG hardening baselines
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) regulations

• Ability to reduce complex topics and distill them into Executive Level Summaries
• Ability to supervise skilled professionals in various highly specialized backgrounds
