As the Aerospace Manufacturing Manager - F-35 you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and productivity. This will involve leveraging best practices with other Transparency sites, managing integrated product teams and value stream performance, implementing new products and processes, improving process capability, coordinating between departments, and driving continuous improvement to meet customer and organizational objectives.

This is an on-site role at our Grand Prairie, TX facility and will report directly to the Grand Prairie Aerospace Plant Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Drive Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) improvement through developing and improving processes, establishing safety culture, performing Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR) and Job Hazard Assessments (JHA), leading and participating in safety committees, and ensuring compliance with applicable EH&S regulations, policies and procedures.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities to meet company objectives and customer expectations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation to optimize operational costs.
• Provide value stream leadership through collaboration with other departments throughout the value stream.
• Ensure product and process compliance with military and industry requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or similar.
• Prepare and present operational reports to customers and senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical, operations, or business discipline is required.
• Seven (7) or more years of leadership experience in a highly complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment required.
• Strong understanding of operational processes, budgeting, and resource management practices preferred.
• Proficiency in using operations management software and tools is preferred.
• Knowledge of quality managements systems, standards and specifications is preferred.
