THE JOB:

Red Plate is renowned for its authentic Cantonese cuisine served in an elegant setting. As a Specialty Cook, you will you'll showcase your culinary expertise in a fast-paced, high-standard environment that celebrates bold flavors and traditional techniques.

THE STARTING RATE:

• $23.3373 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Execute traditional Cantonese dishes with accuracy, consistency, and flair using wok and other specialized techniques.

• Read tickets and deliver precise, on-time orders that meet Red Plate's high standards.

• Stock, label, and rotate inventory; maintain quality and safety at all times.

• Work a station independently and efficiently with little or no assistance during regular business volumes.

• Work cleanly and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with SNHD guidelines.

• Prepare special requests as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Assist in training new team members and uphold presentation standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• At least two (2) years of experience in a high-volume professional Chinese kitchen or culinary school environment.

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
