THE JOB:

Join the dynamic team at MGM Springfield as a Lead Kitchen Stewarding, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organization of dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your welcoming attitude and attentive service will set the tone for guests, allowing you to connect with their stories and needs, thereby creating memorable moments that surpass expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a positive guest experience while showcasing your leadership skills in a vibrant hospitality environment.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.05 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Remove washed dinnerware, flatware, and glassware from dishwasher and stack them according to size and likeness for future use, return items not satisfactorily cleaned for a second wash
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of supply/storage closets; remove trash, wipe down shelf and counter; clean floor, remove items which do not belong and place in correct area
• Receive soiled dinnerware, flatware, and glassware, sort items according to size and likeness
• Change dishwasher machine water and filter, refill as specified to ensure wares are properly cleaned
• Maintain cleanliness and working condition of garbage disposal
• Transport garbage container from kitchen and work area to dumpster; empty and clean

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has high school diploma, GED or equivalent
• Supervisory experience in a kitchen/stewarding
