ABOUT THE COMPREHENISVE COMMUNITY SERVICES (CCS) PROGRAM OF JEFFERSON COUNTY
The Family Centered Treatment (FCT) model is provided through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) program within Human Services, Behavioral Health Division. CCS provides a flexible array of individualized community-based psycho-social rehabilitation services for consumers with mental health or substance use disorders across their lifespan. The goal of the program is to assist the consumer in increasing resilience, reducing the impact that their trauma history, mental health, and/or substance use disorder plays in their life, and assisting in their journey of recovery. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Family Centered Treatment (FCT) is an evidence-based model that provides intensive in-home support to families experiencing dysregulation or having a child returning from out-of-home placement. FCT addresses the needs of the family unit, recognizing that what affects one family member affects all family members. The FCT therapist will meet with families several times a week, to learn and adopt positive behavioral patterns through counseling, skills training, trauma treatment, community resource coordination and a variety of identified psychosocial rehabilitation services. SOME ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES You will be successful in this role by completing the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Complete all necessary FCT training and requirements to be a certified Family Centered Treatment therapist through the Family Centered Treatment Foundation
- Provide individual, family and group psychotherapy for consumers and families enrolled in the CCS/FCT program, using the evidence-based practice of FCT
- Participate in team developed recovery planning services
- Facilitate and provide psychosocial rehabilitative services
- Perform comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments, evaluate consumer's safety to self and others through clinical interview and develop crisis plans and safety plans with the consumer to meet their safety needs
- Be willing to meet families where they are at, including after 5pm.
REQUIRED:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling and/or Marriage and Family Therapy
- Valid driver's license
ABILITY TO OBTAIN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional Licensure with 2-3 years' experience.
Wage & Benefits
$32.59 - $34.44/ hour based on experience and Education.
Potential to earn up to $43.82/hour
