FTE: 1.0, Shift: Day, Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Position Summary As a member of the Early Supports for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) team at Children's Village, The Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) is responsible for providing coordination of services for families of children with developmental delays as a family resource. The FRC will maintain necessary paperwork and timelines in accordance with the contractual ESIT program guidelines. As a member of the ESIT team, they will meet with families in their homes to ensure coordinated access to services and programs. The FRC will maintain information about available services from Children's Village, partner agencies, and the community for the benefit of the children and families served and work in concert with ESIT and the other programs at Children's Village.The FRC II position will provide an additional role on the ESIT multidisciplinary team as an evaluator and contribute to the Individual Family Services Plan goals and objectives. They will play a more active role in community relationships and coach and mentor new FRC staff. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Monitors individual plans on an ongoing basis including reviewing progress toward outcomes, objectively and accurately identifying potential/real barriers, linking families to appropriate community resources, amending service plans as needed to reflect changes in frequency, setting, or duration. Facilitates collaborative team meetings and case conferences as well as works with multi-disciplinary team to provide family-centered services at Children's Village. Participates in education opportunities to expand and improve job knowledge and skills as well as maintains knowledge of mandated reporting procedures to Child Protective Services and reviews any incidents with direct supervisor. Responds to changes in the work schedule as necessary; demonstrates flexibility in view of interruptions; functions as a steadily productive employee. Plays an active role in encouraging and communicating community development internally and externally. Travels to family homes, community locations or school districts to participate in evaluations, transition meetings or other complimentary activities related to the IFSP or Early Supports to Infants and Toddlers program. Carries a caseload as a member of the ESIT team as prescribed by the ESIT program contract. The following duties are assigned as additional with the FRC II position: Conducts home visits to assess living conditions, patterns of parent-child interaction, and special instruction to child and family. Takes a lead role in partnership with assigned school districts. Conducts psychosocial developmental assessment of the child in the family context dependent upon degree. Provide individual support to families (i.e.; Promoting First Relationships) as a service in alignment with training offered through ESIT. Mentors new FRC's to support adherence to the ESIT contract requirements. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Education, or relevant field required. Experience: 2 years related experience preferred. Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Washington State registration as a Family Resources Coordinator obtained within 6 months of hire. Bilingual Preferred. Driver's license and proof of auto insurance required. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $23.67 - $34.06 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
