Job Overview The Campus Recruiter identifies and attracts top talent from universities and colleges to join Macy's Internship and Executive Development Programs. They collaborate with hiring managers and teams to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. This role requires a dynamic individual who builds strong relationships with academic institutions, students, and internal stakeholders to ensure a robust pipeline of future retail professionals. Additionally, the Campus Recruiter manages the summer internship experience, ensuring it is engaging and beneficial for both interns and the organization. What You Will Do
Skills You Will Need Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with university stakeholders, student organizations, and prospective candidates. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the employer brand and opportunities to candidates and stakeholders. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to efficiently manage multiple recruiting events, interview schedules, and candidate pipelines. Adaptability: Flexibility to adjust recruiting strategies based on evolving business needs, campus dynamics, and industry trends. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in recruiting, such as candidate shortages or competitive talent landscapes. Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to utilize data and metrics for evaluating recruiting strategies and making well-informed decisions. Team Collaboration: Experience collaborating with hiring managers, HR teams, and stakeholders to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals.
