This position is open to all of Texas, but please note that you will be servicing Austin and surrounding areas.

Residing within that radius would be necessary.

Schedule: M - F, with an occasional Saturday* if needed

How You'll Make an Impact:

ABC is seeking an Artificial Turf Design, Operations, & Sales Specialist who will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers of ABC at all times. Professional behavior is expected at all times while working with residential or commercial customers and with ABC colleagues. Listens to customers' requests or concerns and makes recommendations for how to best address their home or business improvement needs. As a commission employee, the Landscape Design & Sales Specialist has great potential to increase earnings daily, based on productivity and sales. Compensation can also be increased by turning in leads for additional services through ABC's Lead Now program. As a commission employee, you control your earnings potential. .

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Artificial Turf Sales and Installation experience.
  • Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and outstanding phone etiquette is required.
  • Ability to listen and understand the client's concerns; excellent interpersonal and written skills.
  • Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, smart phone, tablet and computers.
  • Able to multi-task and still keep strong attention to details.
  • Keeping up with long schedules during the peak season; time management skills are required.
  • Builds new business relationships and develops business communications with existing clients.
  • Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time in extreme temperatures including attics and outdoors.
  • Crouch and crawl when needed into crawl-spaces.
  • Climb a ladder up to 40 feet in height.
  • Repetitive lifting, twisting, pulling, pushing may be required.
  • Handles power tools, drills, saws, etc.
  • Walk jobsites to include steep grades, heights, wet or muddy conditions, and uneven terrain.
  • Must maintain an active Driver's License and be insurable
  • Able to work an occasional Saturday*

What You'll Do:

  • Works closely with ABC customer service representatives; as applicable, provides service quote over phone or schedules face to face appointments with customer to develop and present more comprehensive landscape estimates and plans.
  • Works closely with Sales Manager to set protocols and pricing for Artificial Turf sales
  • Manages the install of all Artificial Turf jobs to include hiring and managing any subcontractors.
  • Coordinates all work with other ABC work being done on property
  • Hiring, training, and developing in house crews to perform artificial turf installation
  • Meets with past or existing clients for new sales and up-sells and responds to incoming leads in a timely fashion.
  • Works closely with the Landscape Sales Manager and CSR's to ensure clear communication through the sales and construction process, internally with all appropriate ABC representatives and externally with customers and suppliers.
  • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with all ABC landscape specialists to ensure excellence in communication at all times and to ensure that a high level of service is always delivered to ABC customers.
  • Spends the majority of the time outside the office and drives for a large part of the work day to meet with existing clients and ongoing projects. * Takes steps to continuously develop specialized knowledge of landscape services and all the other services provided by ABC.
  • Creates sales agreements; completes and submits all required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner. Communicates special instructions to field and office personnel as needed to ensure all details of sales agreement is delivered to customer.
  • Follow up with all customer sales agreements not closed.
  • As required, visits job sites while work is being performed. Confirm work details with the customer and field personnel.
  • Collects payment from customer (per payment schedule), delivers it to the office and adheres to all company financial policies and protocols.
  • Consistently follows through with all proposals; provides clarification as necessary; negotiates prices with General Manager approval; meets monthly sales quotas set by Division Manager and the company.
  • Uses personal protective equipment as required or for injury prevention purposes.
  • Meets deadlines of route and informs staff of scheduled appointments not met.
  • Attend required department meetings and company or vendor training as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
