Job Title: Territory Manager Reports To: Northeast Regional Sales Manager Department: Sales Location: Mid-Atlantic Territory FLSA Status: Exempt Summary: This position is responsible for identifying opportunities, achieving growth goals, and presenting products & services in the assigned territory: Mid-Atlantic (Southern New York (including Long Island), New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C.) Job Responsibilities:
- Actively manages sales activities for accounts in the territory assigned, through a high frequency of face-to face customer and EPC meetings. Develops broad and deep relationships with all decision makers and influencers.
- Regularly travels throughout assigned territory to call on existing and prospective customers to create, identify and close sales opportunities.
- Displays or demonstrates products, using PowerPoints or demos, emphasizing features and benefits.
- Works with inside sales to size pumps, produce quote prices and propose payment terms.
- Follows up with after sales efforts to promote the sale of replacement parts and repairs.
- Prepares reports and forecasts and keeps accurate expense account records.
- Provides customer trainings for both Metering and Centrifugal pumps (Canned Motor and Magnetic Drive).
- Maintains customer and sales data in SAP and Citrix to include updating open quotations.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Troubleshoots customer pumps and systems and installation issues, as well as competitor bad actors.
- Maintains current knowledge of industry data, build rates and trends, as well as customer knowledge, including competitive activity that would impact existing and potential customers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum five years related outside sales experience, including plant experience.
- Consultative Problem-Solver, strong relationshi builder, hunter, closer
- Knowledgeable in pumps and pumping
- Proficient in MicroSoft Office tools - Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
- Ability to prioritize and make self-directed decisions, multi-task, and function effectively under frequent deadlines
- Ability to work through problems from a professional, technical, practical and business profitability perspective
- Detail oriented with excellent personal organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service oriented
Preferred Skill and Experience:
- Experience in a similar role with industrial products
- Experience working in the assigned territory is preferred
- EPC experience is preferred
- Experience with a CR
