You can explore the details of our benefits offering by visiting the following link: https://jhhs.mybenefitsjhhs.com/ Summary Reporting to the Client and Special Services Manager, this position is responsible for developing and managing relationships with a targeted base of patients while coordinating their medical care at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. Emphasis will be placed on the design and implementation of best practices within Johns Hopkins Medicine (JHM) when dealing with patients, referral sources, and physicians. This position will manage relationships with various high-end referral sources, and provide special services of the group to a select clientele within Johns Hopkins and to targeted groups throughout the United States and the world. The position will also be responsible for coordinating patients' medical journey: including pre-arrival tasks, scheduling appointments, financial clearance, onsite case coordination, facilitating post care requests and tracking success measures of the different activities. The individual will work closely with departments, including the Dean' office, President's office, Trustees/Board members, Corporate referrals and the Fund for Johns Hopkins Medicine, to identify potential donors, and cultivates relationships with patients who have the potential to donate to JHM. The Bilingual Client Specialist JHI will also communicate with non-English speaking patients to assure accurate communication, understanding and comprehension related to care coordination Requirements: Education: B. A. or B. S. required. Equivalent work experience may be substituted. Knowledge/Skills: Proficiency in oral and written English, as well as in Arabic. Good knowledge of cultural nuances and norms in the world, which could be specific to certain parts of the world. Excellent knowledge of customer service best practices and concierge services catered to opinion leaders. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy in English and in a second language preferred. Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.: Candidates must successfully pass the required JHM approved designated language assessment at Interpreter Level prior to job offer. New employees must complete all required training within 30 days of hire. Work Experience: 5 years related experience in healthcare and/or international business with a strong focus on customer service best practices. Salary Range: Minimum $26.12/hour - Maximum $43.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
