This role requires deep technical expertise in designing and maintaining secure voice and video data cluster storage solutions, along with scripting and automation experience in Python. The successful candidate will support sensitive collection systems and ensure resilient, secure, and scalable network infrastructures aligned with national security objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage secure enterprise network solutions tailored for data-intensive voice and video systems.
- Support mission-critical storage clusters for data ingestion, retrieval, and real-time processing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to architect high-availability and fault-tolerant systems in a secure setting.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring, and system integration.
- Implement security hardening, risk assessments, and patch management protocols.
- Troubleshoot and optimize network and system performance in both virtual and physical environments.
- Document network topologies, procedures, and system configurations in accordance with government compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a defense/intelligence environment.
- Proven experience with:
- Network architecture and design in secure environments.
- Voice and video transmission systems.
- Clustered data storage solutions (e.g., Ceph, GlusterFS, or similar).
- Python scripting for automation and system integration.
- Deep knowledge of routing/switching, VLANs, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with RMF, STIGs, and other DoD/IC compliance frameworks.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and encryption techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent network certifications.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
- Prior support to collection or exploitation missions within the IC.
