Job Title

Enterprise Security Analyst II


Job Summary

The Enterprise Security Analyst handles incoming and outgoing security requests in addition to receiving external calls as it relates to the shared systems and the Noridian Medicare Portal (NMP).


Essential Functions
Key Duties/Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Receives and responds to customer inquiries promptly and accurately
  • Analyzes customer requests for completeness and accuracy and researches the viability of requests
  • Validates customer information prior to processing/releasing information
  • Demonstrated quality by achieving Measure Monitor Enforce (MME) expectations
  • Records details of actions taken to resolve the inquiry in a timely manner
  • Updates internal systems with appropriate data via the MCPS/call request and maintains security profiles
  • Submits MCPS requests as necessary and contacts the provider community to resolve issues
  • Receives and processes Medicare Claims Processing System (MCPS) from the customer
  • Determines if all necessary information is received on the requests in order to complete
  • Conducts peer review responsibilities as appropriate
  • Completes maintenance to various systems for new hires, transfers, and separations
  • May be responsible for the receipt and completion of Noridian system access requests
  • Prioritizes work throughout the day and adapts to changes in workload as needed
  • May conduct annual access reviews across Noridian systems
  • May complete logging and monitoring activities for inactivity of accounts
  • Completes and finalizes the team documentation via secondary review (training materials as well as SharePoint sites)


Non-Essential Duties and Functions

  • Volunteers to assist other team members when needed
  • Shifts focus to another area as needed
  • Supports a rotating schedule of responsibilities as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Security Management or Healthcare or closely related field OR combination of education and equivalent work experience as determined by HR
  • 2 years' work experience in security or healthcare field
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills
  • Multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Experience in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
  • Ability to maintain confidential information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications
Above requirements and the following:

  • Basic knowledge of security principles
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

Below is the salary range for potential new hires.

Salary Range: The pay range for this position is $19.05 - $31.34 per hour, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
