Description

Role Overview:

As a Construction Project Manager, you are responsible for managing the planning, production, and completion of a variety of concrete/ready mix, dirt work, and excavation projects in the Grand Forks and Devils Lake areas. This includes coordinating crews and subcontractors, managing required quality control, and working with the foremen and superintendents to manage project progress.

Assure work is in conformity with federal and state standards, accepted principals of design and engineering, and available funds.

This position regularly meets with regulatory agencies, customers, management, and fellow Team Members.

Compensation:

$80,000 - $100,000 Per Year, Year-Round, Full Time

Minimum Qualifications:

As a successful Construction Project Manager, you will have:



  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction management, a related field OR equivalent experience
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to hold and maintain a driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime and some Saturdays.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer programs and construction technology


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 1-2 years Previous Project Management Experience
  • 1-2 years GIS/GPS Experience
  • Knowledge and experience in managing subcontractors, plan reading, heavy civil construction, construction estimation
