OSI Systems is seeking a Financial Analyst - Corporate Reporting. This individual will have experience in financial, accounting, and operational fields, along with strong analytical and communication skills. They will also make independent decisions and analyses using professional judgment and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and rules and regulations from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). In addition, they will interact frequently with subsidiaries worldwide and must communicate effectively with overseas management, while becoming familiar with the operational complexities of foreign operations. They will also should integrate financial and operational knowledge to provide a balanced perspective.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing SEC financial filings, including Form 10-K annual reports, Form 10-Q quarterly reports, footnotes, Management Discussion and Analysis, XBRL filings, and GAAP/SEC disclosure checklists.
- Responsible for overseeing the global lease accounting process across all divisions, serving as the primary technical accounting expert. Additionally, accountable for the monthly reconciliation to the lease accounting system.
- Handle the periodic accounting for equity transactions within the Shareworks systems, including month-end reconciliations and reporting.
- Oversee the consolidation of intercompany transactions. Prepare journal entries as required.
- Prepare supporting schedules for external auditors during quarterly and annual audits. Provide assistance to both internal and external auditors to demonstrate adherence to SOX compliance.
- Prepare a monthly foreign exchange rates table and create a reference schedule for uploading into the ERP system, ensuring distribution to all global business units.
- Prepare journal entries, conduct analyses, and compile reports required for the monthly and quarterly financial close process.
- Take part in the monthly forecast and annual budget process, offering necessary reports and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out special projects and transactions, and prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses.

Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting is required.
- CPA certification is desired.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience in supporting General Ledger or Financial Reporting is necessary. Experience at a publicly held company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements is required.
- A global, multi-location perspective and international experience is ideal, including the ability to work effectively across a complex global financial footprint.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, decision-making, and technical skills, as well as excellent communication abilities.
- The ability to work in a deadline-driven environment with attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and excellent teamwork collaboration is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary. Experience with general ledger and portfolio accounting software (such as Oracle EPM Cloud Financial Consolidation and Close, Oracle Smart View, ERP systems) is a plus.
