The Contract Registered Nurse opportunity is a member of the Lighthouse Nursing Team for a temporary 3-6 month rotation. The Contract RN will integrate and coordinate a patient centric therapeutic strategy with a keen focus on patient care; ensuring that delivery of high-quality and cost-effective treatment is consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing and accreditation requirements. The Contract Nurse is responsible for comprehensive assessment of persons whose lives are disrupted or complicated by mental illness, behavioral disturbance, substance issues or inability to function or maintain in the community.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Expected to provide safety, supervision and crisis management
• To provide assessment and medication management
• To deliver quality direct care of patients under appropriate clinical supervision to residents with psychiatric disorders admitted to the residential and acute units

• Current, valid State of GA RN license in good standing
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Associates, Bachelors or higher (degree) in nursing
• Prefer one (1) year psychiatric experience with children, adolescents or adults in an acute hospital or residential setting.
