Leopardo, a nationally ranked ENR Top 400 General Contractor and Top 100 Green Builder, is expanding! To support our continued growth, the People & Culture team is seeking a Recruiter to join us. This position will begin as a temporary role, with the potential to transition into a permanent opportunity based on performance and organizational needs.

Summary: The Recruiter will have the opportunity to build the Leopardo team by attracting high quality talent in the full cycle recruitment process. In support of our strategic growth plans, the Recruiter will build and maintain talent pipelines, manage referral networks, and assist in workforce planning.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide excellent applicant experience and support to hiring teams throughout the hiring process from initial contact and screening to offer acceptance and onboarding
  • Source candidates in a proactive, multi-faceted approach to fill a variety of roles such as Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Project Managers
  • Manage employee referral process, external referral networks, and internal talent databases
  • Partner with hiring managers, People & Culture department and interviewing teams to understand staffing needs
  • Provide guidance on the labor market and talent acquisition strategies
  • Conduct preliminary candidate screenings, assess candidate qualifications and fit for available roles/future opportunities, recommend candidates as appropriate and build candidate pipelines
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews
  • Draft offer letters, coach hiring managers through the offer process and execute offers
  • Coordinate with People & Culture team to ensure smooth onboarding for new hires. Assist with orientation scheduling, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding
  • Participate in continuous improvement of talent processes
Education / Experience Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in recruiting including proactive sourcing; experience working at a federal contractor or in the construction industry. Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Organized, self-starter able to prioritize while supporting internal and external customers (such as hiring managers, team members, applicants and potential candidates.)
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), experience with Jobvite a plus
