Senior Director, Regional Sales

In this role, you will develop, lead, and motivate a high-performing selling team in an assigned territory-guiding them to enhanced performance, strategic focus, and accountability. You will manage all business activities in the region, including sales planning, dealer alignment, market share growth, and progress toward revenue and margin goals, ensuring alignment with our overarching growth strategy..

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performance regional team by hiring, developing, and retaining professional, enthusiastic, and committed sales talent.

  • Drive performance against market share, revenue, order/shipment volume, and margin targets.

  • Establish clear role expectations and align individual sales goals to regional and enterprise priorities.

  • Build strong, strategic partnerships with dealer leaders-co-developing business plans, conducting regular performance reviews, and fostering joint accountability.

  • Create a culture of trust, clarity, and results through proactive communication, coaching, and strategic prioritization.

  • Influence internal and external stakeholders to advance business outcomes, particularly in cross-functional and matrixed environments.

  • Lead A+D team members to ensure execution of regional of MillerKnoll's A+D market strategy.

  • Partner with other Regional Sales Directors to ensure coordination across geographies and share best practices.

  • Partner with vertical market leaders to align on strategies for growth and deployment of Region team.

  • Evaluate team deployment and adjust as needed to maximize impact and coverage.

  • Manage region-level business planning activities-forecasting, budgeting, account planning, and expense management.

  • Effectively utilize MillerKnoll's tools and systems including Salesforce, account and opportunity planning templates to drive transparency, prioritization, and measurable outcomes.

  • Provide timely and accurate regional reporting and forecasts to Sales Leadership and Sales Operations.

  • Demonstrate high personal performance standards and integrity while modeling MillerKnoll's Sales Culture.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience considered.

  • 2+ years of successful sales leadership experience with a proven track record of leading teams, driving growth, and creating team alignment.

  • 4-6 years of successful experience in capital goods or contract selling; knowledge of MillerKnoll products and services is a plus.

  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire others-both direct reports and peers.

  • Deep understanding of selling strategy: strategic selling, consultative approaches, negotiation, and closing.

  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy; ability to make sound decisions that balance customer needs with business profitability.

  • Demonstrated success in building trusted relationships with dealer partners and other external stakeholders.

  • High levels of emotional intelligence, organizational agility, and situational awareness-able to lead through complexity and ambiguity.

  • Ability to operate with autonomy while contributing to enterprise goals.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to actively listen, influence, and drive alignment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.
