IT Operations Support Specialist TEKsystems is seeking an IT Operations Support Specialist to join one of our clients based out of Frankfort, KY. This role focuses on monitoring systems and ensuring smooth operations within an IT environment. The position follows a structured shift schedule. Schedule: * Sunday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM * Tuesday: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM * Wednesday: 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM * Saturday: 8:00 PM - 7:00 AM Requirements: * 2-3 years of experience in IT support or desktop support, with strong troubleshooting abilities for hardware and software issues. * Reliable attendance and ability to work designated shifts. * Strong customer service skills with a professional demeanor, including patience and empathy when assisting users. * Ownership mentality, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. * Trainability, initiative, and the ability to clearly communicate technical solutions in a way users can understand. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Preferred Skills & Experience: * Experience monitoring IT operations in an enterprise environment. * Background in data center operations or system administration. * Strong customer service experience within an IT setting. * Proficiency in desktop support, operating systems, office productivity tools, and IT service management platforms. * Familiarity with command-line interfaces and basic networking diagnostics. * Ability to multi-task and follow established policies and procedures. * Strong documentation skills with attention to detail. * Experience managing user accounts and remote support services. Additional Qualifications: * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Professional approach to problem resolution. * Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience Level: * Intermediate Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
