TECHNOLOGY LEAD (MARKETING AND LOYALTY) OUR DIGITAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE JOURNEY ROLE SUMMARY The Technology Lead is responsible for technical implementation and guiding the development and optimization of the digital platform, high-performing landing pages and ensuring seamless integration with marketing technologies. The Technology Lead collaborates closely with marketing and design teams to implement robust, scalable solutions that enhance user engagement and drive conversion rates. DEFINITION OF THE TEAM The Marketing and Loyalty team is dedicated to delivering a superior digital marketing experience and driving customer retention and loyalty. By integrating business and IT expertise, the team is responsible for bringing together website as a crucial customer platform and therefore manages marketing content, web landing pages, product search features, customer profiling and personalized marketing campaigns, customer data, and more. In this agile environment, the team works cohesively, guided by a Product Owner and the Technology Lead, to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement. What makes this team effective is its ability to work collaboratively and take ownership of deliverables. Each member of the team has a specific role to play, but they all share a common goal and work together to achieve it. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Technical implementation: Lead and enable the technical implementation of marketing technologies and platforms, ensuring robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions. Develop, optimize, and maintain high-performing landing pages that drive user engagement and conversion rates by designing for great user experiences * Integration and management: Ensure seamless integration of marketing technologies, including CRM systems, email marketing platforms, analytics tools, and CMS. Manage the technical aspects of marketing campaigns, including tracking, reporting, and data analysis * Collaboration and coordination: Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and development teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of marketing initiatives * Project management: Lead technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Coordinate with external vendors and partners as needed for the implementation and optimization of marketing technologies * Team decision making: Foster delivery decision making on the team, but make final decisions when necessary and raise cross-team or transformation-wide decisions when required * Documentation and compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical processes, integrations, and systems. Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards * Technical guidance and management: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed to deliver business commitments on time and with quality *Additional Skills & Qualifications* KEY QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience *Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information technology, or a related field *Master's degree or additional certifications in web development and additionally experience in marketing technology, or related areas is a plus *5+ years of experience leading software development, management of technical resources, and transformation project experience *Extensive experience as a delivery and people leader and further as hands-on, technical individual contributor *Minimum 3-5 years experience as a developer Required Skills *Deep experience with marketing technology platforms, including CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and CMS (e.g., Adobe, Contentful) *Proven experience in integrating various marketing technologies and platforms, including familiarity with API integrations and data synchronization between different systems *Deep understanding of MACH (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, and Headless) architecture *Expertise in optimizing landing pages for performance, speed, and conversion rates *Experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other optimization methodologies *Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues *Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams *Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead technical projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams *Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide development teams Preferred Skills *Familiarity with advanced marketing automation tools/platforms and their application within a B2B marketing context *Experience with data streaming and the producer/consumer pattern *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $117300.00 - $180000.00/yr.
