Lead Cloud Architect- AWS/Kafka (Hybrid)

The Technical Lead role requires a seasoned professional with 9 to 12 years of experience in technical skills such as Junit AWS AWS RDS Kafka API Security Graphql Rest API and API. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts contributing to projects in the Life and Annuities Insurance domain. Proficiency in English is essential.

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable solutions using AWS ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Oversee the integration of Kafka for real-time data processing enhancing system responsiveness and reliability.
• Guide in API Security to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Develop and maintain Rest API and Graphql interfaces facilitating seamless communication between systems.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives driving project success.
• Apply Junit for rigorous testing ensuring code quality and reducing defects in production.
• Implement AWS RDS solutions to manage databases efficiently optimizing data storage and retrieval.
• Ensure robust API architecture enhancing system interoperability and user experience.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives seeing opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Contribute to strategic planning sessions providing insights based on technical expertise and industry trends.
• Analyze system requirements and provide technical solutions that align with business goals.
• Support the Life and Annuities Insurance domain projects demonstrating domain knowledge for impactful solutions.

• Demonstrate proficiency in Junit AWS AWS RDS Kafka API Security Graphql Rest API and API showcasing technical expertise.
• Possess strong domain knowledge in Life and Annuities Insurance enhancing project relevance and effectiveness.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills in English ensuring clear and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
• Show adaptability to hybrid work models maintaining productivity and engagement in diverse environments.

The annual salary for this position is between $113,000- $190,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
