Responsibilities

The Chief of Staff, Global Marketing is a critical thought partner, operational leader, and communicator supporting the Vice President of Global Marketing and CMO. This role is responsible for enhancing the structure, efficiency, and execution of the global marketing function-particularly focusing on managing the tempo and communicating the effectiveness of go-to-market (GTM) operations and campaign performance. You will help drive cross-functional alignment, ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, and continuously improve campaign impact through process, data, and communication.

GTM Operational Planning & Alignment
  • Structure the communications of the global marketing operating model to ensure cohesive execution of GTM strategies across regions and teams.
  • Drive the planning, calendaring, and coordination of multi-channel marketing campaigns, launches, and field programs.
  • Facilitate alignment across Portfolio Marketing, Field Marketing, Sales, and Regional Leaders to ensure GTM cohesion and clarity.
Campaign Effectiveness & Marketing Performance
  • Develop and maintain marketing performance frameworks, dashboards, and reporting to measure the ROI and impact of campaigns.
  • Identify performance gaps and operational inefficiencies; recommend and implement improvements in campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Own post-campaign retrospectives and drive a culture of testing, learning, and continuous optimization.
Marketing Operations & Internal Rhythm
  • Build and manage internal rhythms, including marketing leadership meetings, campaign planning sessions, and cross-functional updates.
  • Serve as the operational engine for the VP of Global Marketing-ensuring follow-through on priorities, decision-making readiness, and execution discipline.
  • Manage marketing calendars, project trackers, and resource planning in partnership with regional and functional leaders.

Internal Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Draft and manage communications on behalf of the VP of Global Marketing for internal audiences, cross-functional updates, and executive briefings.
  • Ensure key stakeholders across sales, product, and regional teams are kept aligned on priorities, launches, and marketing deliverables.
  • Act as a central hub for communication between global marketing and related departments, ensuring GTM efforts remain transparent and aligned.
Special Projects & Strategic Initiatives
  • Lead or support high-priority projects such as go-to-market pilots, process redesigns, campaign optimization initiatives, or new tool integrations.
  • Conduct operational and performance analyses to support strategic decision-making across global campaigns and regional execution.

Qualifications

Required:
  • 6-10 years of experience with strong communications in marketing operations, campaign/project management, GTM strategy, or Chief of Staff roles.
  • Proven experience organizing and optimizing GTM functions and marketing execution in a global or matrixed environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign performance data and translate insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence across teams and senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives with attention to detail and follow-through.
Preferred:
  • Experience with B2B or global marketing organizations.
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing KPIs and attribution models.
